Spodumene is one of the most important lithium mineral resources. It often exists at the form of cylindricity, granule and plate, whose associated minerals include silica sand, feldspar and so on. China is rich in spodumene resources, and its reserves rank ranked the second in the world, which are mainly distributed in Sichuan, Xinjiang, Jiangxi and Hunan provinces. However, the grade of minerals is low, and its granularity is fine, resulting in a low recovery rate.

    At present, spodumene is mostly used in heat resistant ceramics, glass-ceramics and lithium salt industries.With the continuous development of industry, the demand for spodumene is increasing day by day. Therefore, it’s an urgent matter to improve the production efficiency and economic benefits of spodumene.
