MANGANESE ORE
The vast majority of manganese ore resources in our country are lean. Domestic manganese concentrate is far from meeting the market demand of our country. Therefore, we have to import a large number of manganese concentrate from abroad every year, so how to develop and utilize low-grade manganese ore resources in our country has become a top priority.In recent years, through our extensive research, test and industrial application, it has been fully proved that SLon magnetic separation function can effectively separate low-grade manganese ore, which shows that the equipment has a good application prospect in manganese ore dressing industry.
Example: a lead-zinc mine in Nanjing is mainly mined, and the tailings of its lead-zinc dressing contain about 12% manganese.If manganese concentrate with grade of 22% or above can be selected, it can be used as raw material to produce manganese sulfate.In 2005, this factory completed the processing process of recovering manganese concentrate from tailings (as shown in the figure). SLon magnetic separator was used for primary coarse sorting and primary selection. The comprehensive indexes of manganese concentration obtained are: feed grade 12.57%Mn, manganese concentrate grade 25.20%Mn, manganese concentrate rate 27.50% and manganese recovery rate 55.13%.Good economic benefits have been obtained.
