To cater to the development of mining industry and deal with lean raw ore and resource recycling, large-scale equipment has been brought into routine. It’s in line with the national low-carbon development strategy. It also meets the needs of users for efficient and intensive production and production cost reduction, which helps enterprises to achieve green and low-carbon development and enhance their market competitiveness. Besides, the enterprises are expected to continue innovation, maintain the core competitiveness of technological leadership, expand the product system and lead the industrial development. Therefore, SLon has made its mind to invent SLon-5000 WHIMS.

      The first is the design concept and project approval. In 2011, the first SLon-4000 magnetic separator was successfully applied in Pangang Group Company Limited and achieved huge economic and social benefits. The success of the SLon-4000 WHIMS has laid a technical foundation for the research and development of the SLon-5000 WHIMS. The continuous improvement of the mining economy has also provided a market foundation for the application of the Slon-5000 WHIMS.

      Next, it is the whole machine design process. We have a strong scientific research team with 5 doctors, 5 masters, 5 professor-level senior engineers, and 20 core R&D members. From 2013 to 2015, more than 50 design scheme demonstrations were carried out, and over 2,000 drawings were drawn. At the same time, from 2015 to 2021, more than 100 sample mineral processing tests were carried out, including more than 20 process tests. There were 6 intended customers at that time. In October 2021, SLon signed the sales contract with Sichuan Anning Iron and Titanium Co., Ltd. for 3 sets of SLon-5000 WHIMS, successfully realizing the transformation of scientific and technological achievements into products. From design to research and development to manufacturing to beneficiation test, every SLon staff has devoted their efforts and ingenuity to inject soul into the machine!

      In July 2021, organized by the China Nonferrous Metal Industry Association, the “Key Technology and Industrial Application of Green and Efficient Large-Scale High Gradient Magnetic Separation with High Magnetic Field Intensity” project was approved as the international leading level by an expert group composed of two academicians Sun Chuanyao and Qiu Guanzhou. It was selected into the promotion and application catalog of the major technical equipment in Jiangxi Province in 2022, and won the first prize of the 2021 China Nonferrous Metal Industry Science and Technology Award, and was included in the 2022 New Product Trial Production Plan of Jiangxi Province.
