Recently, the Jiangxi provincial government announced the 2022 Jiangxi Provincial Science and Technology Award Notice. The project “Super Large Low-Consumption High Gradient Magnetic Separation Equipment and Process Key Technology and Application” developed by SLon has won the first prize of Jiangxi Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award.

      This project is a major scientific and technological achievement jointly developed by SLon, Kunming University of Science and Technology and Ganzhou Nonferrous Metallurgy Research Institute Co., Ltd. The  scientific research crystallization, which comes from SLon over 30-year work on wet high gradient magnetic separation technology, has the characteristics of high technical difficulty and high level of intelligence. The project aims at problems such as poorer endowment of weak magnetic mineral resources, lower selected grade, expanded mineral processing scale, larger accumulation of tailings resources in major mines, and rising maintenance costs. Major innovations have been achieved in the key technical structure and application of magnetic machines, which have significantly improved the development level of China’s low-grade refractory weakly magnetic ore and tailings resources, promoted the technological progress of the industry, filled a number of technical gaps, and kept China in the world’s leading position in the key technology and application of super-large strong magnetic separators, which has made great contribution to the development and progress of key technology and equipment for China’s weak magnetic mineral resources, and promoted the development of China’s electromagnetic equipment technology.

      In the future, SLon will continue to increase investment in scientific and technological innovation, strengthen industry-university-research cooperation with scientific research institutes and users, improve its own research and development capabilities and innovation capabilities, and jointly promote the development and innovation of magnetic separation technology and break the bottleneck of magnetic separation equipment and technology. SLon has always maintained the mainstream in the world market segments such as weak magnetic mineral resources and non-metallic minerals, leading the world in technology, becoming a bright business card made in China, and making a contribution to the sustainable development of the mining industry.
