Recently, a few sets of SLon HGMS have been successfully delivered into Mozambique for Zircon project along the seashore. This is our story in the follow.

      This is the second time our equipment purchased by the same customer. Based on the first order in which SLon shows its fabulous performance and get the satisfied processing results, the second collaboration becomes taken for granted. Our first contact went back to 2017, then we received the zircon samples after deslime process. The client asked us to do the magnetic separation experiments which need to make ilmenite concentrates higher than 36% as higher than 90% recovery as possible.

      Based on our experience, we selected LIMS & WHIMS(HGMS) as two stages processing tests. After carefully testworks, we found 3mm Rod matrix is the best choice and grade of TiO2 in concentrates could reach 37.45% with 81.04% recovery by HGMS work at 0.75Tesla and total 89.57% recovery by LIMS & HGMS co-working. At 0.9Tesla, grade of TiO2 in concentrates could reach 36.65% with 84.67% recovery by HGMS work and total 92.67% recovery by LIMS & HGMS co-working which is anticipated targets by our client. Afterward, our first set of industrial model HGMS was placed an order and delivered into Mozambique site. They performed the same as per lab testwork results and showcased excellent performance at client’s processing plant via patient guidance job by our engineers for erection and commissioning at their site.

Tips: Zircon, ZrSiO4 (ZrO2·SiO2), which is normally contained with impurities like MnO，Fe2O3，TiO2，CaO，MgO and etc. It is the main mineral used for get Zirconnium and is widely applied in casting, ceramic, glass and refractory. You can find the big change in color between raw material and processed concentrates by SLon technologies, whose improved grade-and-recovery make our clients very satisfied.
