Since the beginning of 2020, the whole world has suffered from COVID-19, which results in the global economic slowdown and international trade contraction. Besides, the cost of international shipping and raw materials has increased sharply.

      In the industrial environment, the overseas business of SLon Magnetic separator Ltd., one of the leading enterprises in the export of magnetic separation equipment, has been greatly blocked. Even so, we have successively won several large foreign projects and made great progress in small and medium-sized projects. This week, two sets Wet High Intensity Magnetic Separator(WHIMS) have been supplied to India for hematite iron ore processing.

      The iron ores in that area are always fine grained and weakly magnetic. It’s difficult to get a good beneficiation result through common magnetic separators. After a series of research and exploratory experiments on its properties, our technicists have made some adjustments and introduced the customized WHIMS. According to the laboratory beneficiation test, the TFe grade can be improved from 56% to 64% by only one stage of strong magnetism. Besides, to improve its recovery rate, we have specially added scavenger WHIMS to collect as much TFe as possible from the tailings. Finally, the recovery rate can reach up to 64%. It has been proved that the specially designed WHIMS runs quite well for this kind of hematite iron ore, which also achieved a new height on the independent design positioning on local conditions.
