Recently, the Party Central Committee and the State Council have announced the first batch of awards list for the “National Outstanding Engineer Award”, including 83 outstanding engineers and 50 outstanding engineering teams. Among them, Dr. XiongDahe, the inventor of SLon Vertical Ring Pulsating High Gradient Magnetic Separator, the founder of SLon Magnetic Separator Co., Ltd., and the recipient of the commemorative medal “Celebrating the 70th Anniversary of the Founding of the People’s Republic of China”, is recognized for his work in weakly magnetic ore beneficiation. For his significant achievements and contributions in the field, he has been awarded the first batch of “National Outstanding Engineer” awards.

      It is understood that the “National Outstanding Engineer Award” is an honor for sub-academician-level talents. And this is the first time that China has carried out this award. It is a way for the Party Central Committee and the State Council to commend advanced models in the field of engineering technology and inspire the majority of technical talents to work hard and move forward courageously, so as to make new and greater contributions to the comprehensive construction and promotion of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
